Small Unmanned Ariel System

Department of Computer Science and Engineering

Project Abstract

The original goal of the project was to design and implement an app using Android Studio that would allow a drone (DJI Mavic Air) to navigate through a maze without being actively piloted by a person. Given the circumstances of Covid-19 pandemic, it was decided that the aim of the project would be transitioned to implementing a Java solution for a maze emulator. This change allowed for facilitation of collaboration between group members without the limitation of one physical drone to be shared between the entire group. As such, the most current version of the project consists of a maze emulator Java program that was provided by the client, as well as a solution created by our group.
