The University of Colorado Denver Office of Advancement is a hub for alumni relations and fundraising activities for the campus. Our professional staff collaborates with campus leadership, faculty and staff to identify funding needs, opportunities and priorities. At the same time, we maintain contact with individual alumni and friends, and with local and national corporations and foundations to cultivate their awareness, interest and investment. In addition, alumni relations provides meaningful avenues for alumni to remain connected with the university.
Whether in person or by phone, mail or social media, whether for planning a bequest or responding to the annual giving solicitations, CU Denver’s advancement professionals work closely with donors to assist them in considering and making gifts that reflect their philanthropic intentions in supporting the university’s people and programs. Equally important, we ensure that gift funds are applied in accordance with donors’ wishes and that donors are recognized and appreciated for their generosity.
