The ASCE Student Chapter is a forum for members to mature professionally and forge lasting connections with CU Denver students while exploring the diverse concentrations within civil engineering. Additionally, the organization seeks to expose students to programming that gives depth to what is learned in the classroom.

The National Society of Black Engineers, as a national student and professional based organization, does hereby dedicate itself to the development of intensive programs for increasing Black and other ethnic minority participation in the fields of engineering and engineering technology.

The University of Colorado Denver student chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) is a dynamic and passionate community of aspiring transportation professionals. Committed to advancing the field of transportation engineering and planning, this chapter provides a platform for students to explore, learn, and engage with real-world transportation challenges and real-world professionals. Our members are driven by a shared vision of creating sustainable, efficient, and accessible transportation systems that benefit society. Through a variety of events, workshops, and networking opportunities, the chapter fosters an environment where students can gain valuable insights from industry experts, collaborate on innovative projects, and develop the skills necessary to excel in the field of transportation. Our chapter welcomes students from all backgrounds to join us in shaping the future of transportation.

WTS Colorado Student Chapter is about bringing people together - all genders and disciplines - to elevate women in leadership and advance transportation equity and innovation. WTS Colorado Student Chapter provides opportunities for students to engage with like-minded students and professionals in the transportation field through networking events, participating in mentoring and job shadowing opportunities, and engaging with fellow students in social and service activities. This organization is open to all students interested in the transportation field and welcomes students from the University of Colorado Denver and Metro State University, with the goal of reaching out to students at other universities throughout Colorado.

ACM brings together computing educators, researchers, and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources, and address the field's challenges. As the world’s largest computing society, ACM strengthens the profession's collective voice through strong leadership, promotion of the highest standards, and recognition of technical excellence. ACM supports the professional growth of its members by providing opportunities for life‐long learning, career development, and professional networking.

The AGC of Colorado is Colorado's leading professional association for the state's commercial building industry, representing over 600 firms. AGC/C provides benefits and business resources ranging from: networking opportunities in Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and the Mountain Region; dynamic committees; innovative education programs; construction safety services including a CHASE Partnership Program with OSHA; advocacy at a local, state and national level and more. The membership of AGC/C is comprised of general contractors and specialty contractors (both union and non-union shops, public and privately owned; and, from very large to very small), suppliers and professional service providers.

CMAA represents more than 16,000 members including federal/state/local government and private sector owners, construction consultants, technology suppliers, academia, and legal organizations all with a common goal: to improve our nation's infrastructure.

The Dean’s Student Advisory Council(DSAC) is comprised of students who will meet biweekly with the Dean, Student Representatives, Department Chairs, Faculty, and Staff to provide feedback and information on their experiences here at CEDC. There will also be opportunities at each meeting to discuss about collaborative events and student engagement. The DSAC's goal is to come together in an effort to continuously improve the student experience and influence positive change within the community. Time Commitment: 2-3 hours once a month.
