Project Abstract
Rocky Mountain National Park identified safety issues related to Deer Ridge Junction, the intersection of Trail Ridge Road (HWY 34) and Beaver Meadows Road (HWY 36), and the adjacent Deer Mountain Trailhead parking areas. Rocky Mountain National Park is pursuing a realignment of the intersection, relocation of the trailhead to minimize pedestrian/traffic conflicts, and modified parking layout for expanded capacity.
