Platteville, Colorado (named for its proximity to the Platte River) was founded on May 27, 1871. It is located in Weld County and has a population of about 2,500. This project involves the study, survey, analysis, and design of infrastructure improvements to a four-block segment of Main Street; however, a wider study of the entire town is required to develop and integrate a comprehensive stormwater management plan. The primary focus of the project is Main Street between Cherry Avenue at the south and Grand Avenue at the north.
