Advisory board
The department’s advisory board provides guidance and advice on all issues regarding teaching, research, structure of the academic program, program objectives, student outcomes and improvements or refinements in the program curriculum (both technical and professional development).
The board provides regular input to the level of PEO attainment using data from alumni surveys, graduating student exit interviews and their own professional experience. The board is comprised of industry, students and alumni and plays an integral role through its recommendations and suggestions on the focus, activities and directions of both the undergraduate and graduate programs in the department. Additionally, the board facilitates continuous collaboration and cooperation with the local community and industry. The board meets approximately once per year and provides feedback about our program in relationship to industrial, academic, global, societal and economic trends.
