Active Cyber Infrastructure Defense Lab (ACID Lab)

Overview

The ACID (Active Cyber Infrastructure and Defense) lab at the University of Colorado Denver focuses on a variety of areas in cyber and infrastructure defense, including but not limited to proactive security, big data analytics for cyber security, security for cyber-physical systems and critical infrastructures, and science of security.

Research areas

The ACID lab focuses on providing novel and out-of-the-box solutions to traditional and emerging threats in cyber domain.

The research focuses of the lab include the following:

  • Social Networks Cybersecurity Analytics
  • Proactive Security for Cyber Threats (Moving Target Defense, Cyber Deception)
  • Big Data Analytics for Cyber Threat Intelligence
  • Security for Cyber-Physical Systems & Critical Infrastructures
