Welcome to the Outside Lab @ CU Denver!
Our team of engineers and product developers is here to help you with the next great innovation in gear. We conduct performance testing for outdoor gear on both finished goods and raw materials. The lab is equipped to use industry standard test methods as well as custom test methods in a variety of ways to aid your R&D (confidentially). We can work with you to create custom tests, including fixtures, to meet your development needs. Services we currently offer include:

In addition to these services, we are always interested in hearing about additional test methods and equipment you would like to have access to - these can be standard or new development processes.
