In partnership with The Outside Laboratory at CU Denver
The Mechanical Engineering Department at CU Denver is offering a 4 semester Master's of Science Track in Outdoor Gear. This program is a collaboration with Outside Inc. We are building a state-of-the-art outdoor gear testing laboratory (The Outside Laboratory at CU Denver) on campus. This program is funded in part by the State of Colorado to enhance workforce development as Colorado is one of the premier outdoor destinations for both recreational activities as well as companies. The current slate of courses is shown below. As you can tell this is not the typical master's degree in an engineering program. We encourage individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds to consider this program. The program intends to graduate individuals who can work in outdoor gear companies or start their own. For more information about the program contact Dr. Dana Carpenter at [email protected].
