Section 004
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) affects 6.8 million adults, or 3.1% of the U.S. population; and only 43.2% are receiving treatment. Many who suffer from anxiety either are undiagnosed or can't afford to treat their symptoms. To fill this gap, we wanted to create a low-cost, widely-available solution using current biosensor technology. So we came up with a modular health wearable designed to detect panic attacks that is formatted for use as a necklace or as a bracelet. This information is then fed into our application that allows you connect in the moments you need the most help with your most trusted friends and family.
