Engineering at CU Denver

The College of Engineering, Design and Computing at CU Denver develops the design-oriented engineers of the future through a forward-leaning curriculum that integrates technical skill with computing and design innovation within a culture of collaboration, creativity, and diversity. We offer eight undergraduate programs and 15 graduate programs across five broad-based engineering disciplines. 

Bioengineering - Unparalleled opportunities in biomedical engineering and health sciences, with students taking classes at  both CU Denver and the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. (offering BS, MS, and PhD degrees)

Civil Engineering - Be prepared for careers in the planning, design, construction, and management of the built environment. ​(offering BS, MS, MEng, and PhD degrees)

Computer Science - An in-demand field, computer science is transforming products and services in industries such as finance, health care, transportation, and education. (offering BS, BA, MS, and PhD degrees)

Construction Engineering Our programs combine coursework in engineering, construction management, business, and architecture. (offering BS in Construction Engineering and Management, BS of Construction Management, and graduate tracks)

Cybersecurity - These programs prepare students for careers in online security with skills to defend computers, servers, networks, users and data from malicious attacks. (offering BS and certificate programs)

Electrical Engineering - These programs stress the rigorous scientific and theoretical foundations of the electrical engineering discipline with an interdisciplinary focus. (offering BS, MS, MEng, and PhD degrees)

Mechanical Engineering - Get ample hands-on experience paired with a strong background in theory and analysis in numerical methods and finite element analysis.  (offering BS, MS, MEng, and PhD degrees)
