Target date 31 March | Dear Colleague Letter: Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) and Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) Supplemental Funding in Computer and Information Science and Engineering

NSF REU and RET supplements help undergraduate and K-12 teachers engage in meaningful research experiences that will further the students’ career or the teachers’ teaching practices. Generally, supplements will support 1-2 students or teachers for either the summer or the entire year. CISE provides up to $10K per student and $15K per teacher. Grantees should contact the cognizant NSF program officers of their awards prior to submitting a supplement. For the best chance of funding, requests to CISE should be submitted by 31 March. Please note: anyone with an NSF award can request an REU or RET supplement; please contact your research administrator if you have any questions.
