NOAA’s Weather Program Office is soliciting proposals for two grant competitions from this notification, valued at approximately $2.0 million per year as follows: 1) Climate Testbed (CTB), and 2) Fire Weather. CTB proposals will advance NOAA’s operational subseasonal-to-seasonal (two weeks to two years; S2S) prediction capabilities, and Fire Weather proposals will improve fire weather forecast information and delivery. Projects are sought that are responsive to the priorities articulated in the Science Advisory Board's 2021 Priorities for Weather Research Report.
