Sigma Xi

Undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program are eligible to apply for funding from Sigma Xi to support their research. Funds can be used to purchase specific equipment necessary for the research project and travel to and from a research site. Sigma Xi members may receive awards for $500-$5000 for graduate students and $500-$2000 for undergraduates. Non-members may receive up to $1000. NOTE: by default, the award is disbursed to the institution. The student may choose to receive the award directly, but then must pay tax on the award. If the applicant chooses to have the award given to the institution, the proposal must route before submission.
