The Naval Sea Systems Command Warfare Center Port Hueneme solicits integrated research and development of innovative, personalized and immersive education pedagogy focused on modern maritime corrosion awareness, identification, maintenance, control and mitigation techniques. Research elements include development of Artificial Intelligence/Automated based corrosion inspection capabilities in order to detect defects such as coating failure, corrosion and structural damage on ships and offshore structures.
