Supports primarily ground-based and limited airborne- and space-based astronomical observations of bodies in our solar system. Proposals to this program element must contain as a primary focus new observation of solar system objects (excluding Earth and sun) during the proposed period of performance. This call seeks to understand the physical, chemical, and dynamical processes that shape the atmospheres, exospheres, surfaces, interiors, and motions of solar system objects. This program element does not have a proposal due date. Proposals may be submitted at any time, pending certain eligibility timing issues.
