Keynote Speaker Cliff Kapono:

Dr. Cliff Kapono is a surfer scientist who divides his time between the waves and the lab. Dr. Kapono is Native Hawaiian and draws inspiration from his culture and love of surfing to inspire his work in bioscience. Join us as Dr. Kapono shares the story of his educational journey and the unique path he has forged for himself as a surfer, scientist, journalist, and filmmaker who is committed to ocean conservation.
