RFI: Technical Research Opportunities for 50-Year Photovoltaic System Service Life

The U.S. Department of Energy  Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy  Solar Energy Technologies Office is requesting information on the possible areas of technical research that would enable improvements in utility-scale photovoltaic systems to support PV plant service life of 50 years. Specifically, DOE seeks information related to advances in DC-side fault detection, balance of systems component degradation, and energy-loss remediation.
