DARPA
The DARPA Microsystems Technology Office seeks innovative proposals in the area of microwave/millimeter wave frequency resonator and filter technologies, designs, and methods of manufacture for the purpose of providing front-end radio frequency (RF) protection to the elements of Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESAs). COFFEE will provide elemental protection for wideband, digital-at-every-element phased arrays against interferers which could adversely impact the operation of such arrays in congested RF environments. The proposed research will investigate innovative approaches that enable revolutionary advances in science, materials, devices, manufacturing, and systems.
