This Funding Opportunity Announcement describes the research objectives of the Air Force Research Laboratory’s university Center of Excellence in Brain-Derived Neuromorphic Computing with Intelligent Materials. A university COE is defined as a joint effort among Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Air Force Research Laboratory Technology Directorates, and an outstanding university or team of universities to perform high-priority collaborative research. This center is a joint project between AFOSR, the Information Directorate, and the Materials and Manufacturing Directorate. AFOSR anticipates making at least one grant award of up to $1,000,000 per year per award, for a maximum of five years.
