Appendix L: Program Element Two – Minority Serving Institution (MSI) and Non-MSI Fellowships 2021

NASA has released two opportunities for students who a) hold a bachelor’s degree by 31 Aug 2021 and b) are enrolled in a master’s or doctoral degree program by 1 Sept 2021. The opportunity title for both opportunities is “Innovative Research to Enable Hypersonic Flight Vehicles”; one opportunity is through the Glenn Research Center and one is through the Langley Research Center. Master’s students will be supported with a $50K annual award for 2 years and doctoral students will be supported with a $55K annual award for 3 years; each award has the option of a 1-year extension under certain circumstances and pending available funds.
