28 Feb | Problem Statements for FY2023
CDOT
Each year, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) seeks transportation research ideas and needs in the form of Problem Statements. We are inviting submissions for next fiscal year (FY2023, which begins July 2022). We are seeking ideas in all our traditional research areas, including: Aviation, Bike and Pedestrian, Construction Management, Environmental, Geotechnical, Hydraulics, Maintenance and Operations, Pavement and Materials, Planning, Policy, Structures, Transit and Rail, Traffic and Safety, and Other. We are also requesting ideas in these three focused Areas of Emphasis: Mitigating Wildlife Vehicle Collisions and Improving Safe Wildlife Passage, Construction and Maintenance/Operations impacts on Air Quality, Post-Wildfire hydrology and debris flow impacts on transportation. All Problem Statements must have an internal CDOT Champion. We can help connect you with potential Champions, but please leave additional time for that step. Submit your ideas via our Problem Statement submission form by Monday February 28, 2022.
