Inworks is a cross-campus innovation initiative within the University of Colorado’s College of Engineering, Design and Computing that emerged on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus in 2018, with generous funding by the Chancellor to bring disciplines together.

A sandbox for those with innovation aspirations in healthcare, Inworks on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus leads disciplinary diverse teams through design innovation processes— bringing ideas to life through creative mindsets, advanced modeling, 3D printing, prototyping and clinical validation. Inworks works closely with CU Innovations to pipeline projects for commercialization prospects.

Interdisciplinary to its core, Inworks strives to co-create innovations and translational research in response to clinical challenges while imparting to our collaborators— faculty, clinicians, researchers, students, and external partners— the skills and habits of mind to do the same.
