Cliexa’s Compliance Algorithm

Department of Computer Science and Engineering

Project Abstract

The purpose of this project is to display a simplified visual output of the logic of Cliexa’s Compliance Algorithm. The visual representation will be used to help the user's understanding of the algorithm without the need to explain the application to them. The application will show the decision-making logic that either qualifies or disqualifies a patient for treatment depending on the patient’s answers to the assessment. We have used HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics), and javascript to develop this medical assessment tool. We built this tool to be user friendly and it only requires the user to select either a yes or no button to the question that best describes them. Our application has six assessments for the users to choose from. The user has to click on the icon of assessment they would like to start. Once the user selects an assessment, our application will dynamically populate the questions for that particular assessment. Once the user has answered all questions, we will finalize the results and determine whether the user is qualified for treatment based on the answers given to the assessment. We have also provided an option that will allow the users to zoom out and view the entire logic mapping for the assessment they are currently on.
