Request for a quote for metal 3D printing

Process:

A 200W laser etches and melts a pattern into a layer of steel powder.  Once completed, the build plate is lowered and the recoater blade wipes across a 20 µm layer of powder from the dispenser.  The process repeats as the next layer is sintered onto the previous layer to build up the parts.


In your request, please include the following:

  1. Name, email, upload .stl file, quantity, any specific surfaces that are important. Provide picture with surface circle
  • We will send an estimate for materials and post-processing time along with any questions regarding the part or additional information.  
  • If you have project deadlines, please submit the files to us at least a month in advance of when you will need the parts as our backlog fills up frequently. 
  • To check on the operational status of the printer, please send us an email. 
  • If you don't have SolidWorks or an STL file but have an idea/picture/drawing with 3D dimensions we can work with you to create your design. Approximate design time will also be included in the quote.
