Undergraduate Certificate: Environmental Stewardship for Indigenous Lands

The environmental stewardship of indigenous lands (ESIL) certificate is a first-of-its-kind program, providing science, technology, engineering and mathematics students with extracurricular training in cross-cultural communication and internships with tribal and government partners.

The program is a collaboration between the Department of Civil Engineering, the Department of Integrative Biology and the Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences. It is designed to equip graduates for employment as tribal liaisons.
