On Thursday April 8th at 9:30am via Zoom, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is hosting a guest lecture from Josh Merel, a research scientist at DeepMind.  Everyone is welcome to join and ask questions, particularly students interested in AI research.

Talk Title: Embodied modeling of human and animal movement 

Bio:
Josh Merel is a staff research scientist on the neuroscience team at DeepMind, where he mainly works on problems related to motor control and how embodied agents can generate diverse and adaptive behavior.  He did his PhD at Columbia University, where he studied computational neuroscience.
