The vision of the Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological Health Research Program is to optimize the prevention, assessment, and treatment of psychological health conditions and/or traumatic brain injuries. This year’s funding mechanisms are:
Clinical Trial:Supports clinical trials with the potential to have a significant impact on psychological health conditions and/or traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Emerging Topics: Supports the acceleration of research in emerging topics in traumatic brain injury and/or psychological health.
Focused Program: Supports the development of a synergistic, multidisciplinary research program of three to five distinct but complimentary projects addressing an overarching goal.
Health Services Research: Supports research to bridge the gap between research, practice, and policy by building real-world evidence on how interventions, clinical practices/guidelines, and policies can be deployed to targeted populations at the appropriate time.
Translational Research:Supports translational research that will accelerate the conversion of research findings in psychological health and/or TBI into clinical applications.
