The research applications solicited by this FOA must focus on the injection of a significant quantity CO2 into the subsurface via a horizontal, hydraulically fractured well (or wells) completed in an acknowledged unconventional oil play with significant production history and geologic characterization, and a comprehensive evaluation of the resulting effect on crude oil recovery through “huff-n-puff” or continuous CO2 injection. 20% cost match is required.
