Request information about CS + Design

Earn a bachelor's degree in computer science with a minor in human-centered design

With the Computer Science + Design program, students will earn a bachelor of arts in computer science and a minor in human-centered design and innovation from Inworks Innovation Initiative, CU Denver’s design and prototyping lab. You will gain a strong background in computer science while learning to design products, systems, and services. This combination of technical knowledge and collaborative design experience prepares you for new, exciting careers.

By working with people from across many majors and fields – not only engineering, but also art and architecture, business and humanities – you will practice the interdisciplinary teamwork that is key to innovation. Nearly everything we interact with was designed by someone, and nearly everything truly innovative has a computer inside it.
